Pinewood Derby 2021

Ready, Set, Go! Come join scout tradition at the annual Pinewood Derby!

Get ready for some fun! The Pinewood Derby race is one of the most exciting activities for our scouts. Car kits are provided by the pack, see your den leader. Rules regarding the size and the weight of the car for official entry are attached below.

Saturday, January 16th: 1 PM to 4 PM

Thursday, January 28th: 6:00 – 8 PM All cars must be turned in before race day

Keep in mind that we will use the Pack 101 rules. You must use what is provided in the box (block of wood, four nails and four plastic wheels). You can cut, saw, drill, glue, paint, sand and polish those items. If you want to add items to the block of wood and it is not related to the 4 plastic wheels or nail axles, you may do so as long as the dimensions meet the Pack 101 Official Pine Wood Derby Rules.
